Visual Intelligence: The European Business Intelligence Hackathon
This hackathon introduces students to Decision Information Systems (BIS) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools for data-driven decision-making. Born from a collaborative reflection between European academic staff, it combines an online preparatory phase with an intensive face-to-face week in Paris. Students work in international groups to solve a real-life BI challenge by designing data warehouses and interactive dashboards.

Preparatory Phase (February): Online video lectures and practical tutorials covering ETL, multidimensional modeling, Power BI/Power Query fundamentals, and DAX basics.
Intensive Phase (April 6-10): Hands-on experience at USPN. Students transform raw data using Power Query (M language), conceptualize dashboards, and integrate customized data visualizations from the community.
