Current projects focus on the following research topics: •The role of non-coding RNAs (mainly miRNAs and lncRNAs) and RNA regulatory networks in cancer (liver, lung, colorectal, and osteosarcoma). •Profiling and functional characterization of tissue and circulating microRNAs in human diseases.

Ideal profile and expertise expected from the invited researcher
Expertise in RNA biology: wet-lab experience and/or bioinformatics skills for analyses of biological data. Knowledge of cell biology techniques is also appreciated. For professor mobility: good communication skills for possible seminars within Molecular Biology courses.
