Description and additional information

Strenghts of the offer/Expected benefits

The team (2 professors, 1 researcher, 1 post-doc and Ph.D. students, as well as a number of undergraduate students) has strong expertise in Molecular biology; in particular, we have extensive expertise in non-coding RNAs, especially related to cancer, as we have been studying microRNAs, long non-coding RNAs, and more recently circular RNAs, for many years. Moreover, we have substantial expertise in various cell-based assays, including those used to evaluate cancer hallmarks. In addition, our team offers all the teaching courses in Molecular biology for study plans in Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy and Phd course in Molecular Life Sciences. It is noteworthy that the team members have well-documented research and teaching experience abroad in the US and Europe. These features contribute to offering a very stimulating and open-minded team/environment, with different active national and international collaborations. Thus, expected benefits and results for the inviting and invited fellows are to establish new fruitful collaborations, both for research and teaching purposes. Our laboratory/department is equipped with all infrastructures dedicated to the above-described research lines.
