The iFAB research group has modern advanced manufacturing facilities in the fields of machining, laser texturing, and additive manufacturing, as well as online and offline monitoring systems for these processes and advanced equipment for part quality control (surface texture, tolerance inspection, mechanical testing). In addition, the group is currently involved in several research projects funded by the Government of Spain and the European Union, in close collaboration with the University of Skövde (Sweden) and the National Technical University of Athens (Greece).
