The visiting researcher will join an active research group in Positive Psychology working on a funded project focused on promoting forgiveness and reducing the impact of bullying and cyberbullying among adolescents. Depending on their expertise and interests, the researcher may contribute to one or more areas, such as: -Collaboration and support in the digital development and follow-up phase of a hybrid intervention programme. -Participation in dissemination and data interpretation activities, contributing to future joint collaborations or initiatives. For example, qualitative analyses of adolescents’ perceptions and attitudes toward interpersonal and self-forgiveness or quantitative analyses of moderators and mediators or latent profiles.

The invited researcher should have an academic background in Psychology, Education, or related Social Sciences, with interest in adolescent wellbeing, bullying and cyberbullying, and/or positive psychology-based interventions. Experience or willingness to contribute to quantitative (e.g., latent profiles) or qualitative data analysis (e.g., interviews, focus groups) or to the design and development of digital tools for psychological interventions will be highly appreciated. A good level of English (and preferably basic Spanish) and motivation to collaborate in an interdisciplinary research team are desirable.

The inviting institution offers a robust, well-established research group that support high-quality mobility experiences. Specifically: -Our team, the Applied Positive Lab (PAIDI CTS-1048) is a consolidated Andalusian Research Group based at the University of Málaga, focused on positive psychological resources such as emotional intelligence, forgiveness, and well-being in educational contexts (www.appliedpositivelab.com). -The visiting researcher will join a multidisciplinary and internationally active team with expertise in bullying and cyberbullying, positive psychology, adolescent development, digital technologies, and intervention design. The stay will provide hands-on opportunities for data analysis, dissemination, and the co-development of digital tools to promote adolescent well-being related to an ongoing project. -Our group has a strong record in knowledge-transfer and societal impact, having created resources for educators and families, organised public engagement events on adolescent well-being and digital risks, and collaborated with schools and regional educational agents to implement intervention programmes. -The Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy offers modern facilities, including seminar rooms, collaborative research spaces, and access to digital infrastructure and institutional networks that support international partnerships. The visiting researcher can have access to our team lab and shared resources.
Additional information
Language requirement: Good command of English; some knowledge of Spanish is beneficial but not mandatory. Previous experience: The inviting group has hosted short-term researchers and collaborates with national and international partners in positive psychology research.
