Research Focus: Mathematical and statistical models for evaluating public and third-sector investments. Goals: Balance social value creation, economic feasibility, and third-sector engagement. Applications: Redevelopment of derelict assets for socio-economic benefit; reuse of properties confiscated from organized crime (e.g., under Italy’s Antimafia Code). Objectives: Model investment uncertainty, public–third sector dynamics, and socio-economic returns. Methods: Real options analysis, game theory, generalized linear models, and machine learning for willingness-to-pay estimation, and social impact estimation.
