Join us for this Blended Intensive Programme about young researchers in health

In this BIP you will learn about health innovation, digital health and leadership. You will attend an international congress, hearing from 15 leading experts in the field and will partake in a hands-on workshop related to mearuement tools in Health.

Who can join this BIP?

This BIP is aimed at students enrolled Bachelor's Degree related to health sciences.

When and where is this BIP taking place?

The virtual component will take place on the 13th of April 2026.

The physical component will take place at the University of  Málaga from the 4th of May 2026 to the 8th May 2026.

The follow-up will take place virtually on the 25th of May 2026.

• • DAY 1 – 04/05/2026
  • • 9:00 – 10:00 – Welcome session by the Faculty of Health Sciences and the International Relations Office.
    • 10:00 – 11:00 – Visit to the Faculty of Health Sciences, including the Research Centre, Simulation Laboratories and Teaching and Healthcare Units.
    • 11:00 – 11:30 – Coffee break.
    • 11:30 – 13:00 – Lecture by Kauno Kolegija Higher Education Institution.
    • 13:00 – 14:00 – Networking session.
    • 14:00 – 16:00 – Lunch.
    • 16:00 – 16:15 – Group photo.
    • 16:15 – 19:00 – City tour.

  • • 8:30 – 9:30 – Talk with institutional representatives.
    • 9:30 – 10:30 – Round table on healthcare innovation and emerging technologies.
    • 10:30 – 11:30 – Practical workshop on research skills or entrepreneurship (to be chosen).

    • 12:00 – 13:00 – Round table on clinical research and public health.
    • 13:00 – 14:30 – Presentations by young researchers’ projects.
    • 14:30 – 16:30 – Lunch.
    • 16:30 – 17:30 – Round table on leadership and entrepreneurship.
    • 17:30 – 18:30 – Scientific poster presentations by young researchers.
    • 18:30 – 19:00 – Coffee break.
    • 19:00 – 20:00 – Round table on social impact and scientific outreach.

    • 10:30 – 11:30 – Practical workshop on mental health or academic career development (to be chosen).

    • 12:00 – 13:00 – Research groups and patient associations fair.
    • 13:00 – 14:30 – Oral presentations of young researchers’ projects in clinical research.
    • 14:30 – 16:30 – Lunch.
    • 16:30 – 17:30 – Oral presentations of young researchers’ projects in leadership.
    • 17:30 – 19:00 – Debate session for predoctoral teaching staff.
    • 19:00 – 20:00 – Closing ceremony of the BIP central event with awards for best presentations.

  • • 8:00 – 9:30 – Bus transfer to a rural area of the province of Málaga.
    • 9:30 – 10:30 – Coffee break.
    • 10:30 – 11:00 – Welcome by local institutions.
    • 11:00 – 12:00 – Lecture by Université Sorbonne Paris Nord.
    • 12:00 – 14:00 – Visit to the local health centre and patient associations.
    • 14:00 – 16:00 – Lunch.
    • 16:00 – 17:00 – Networking activities.
    • 17:00 – 18:30 – Guided tour of the historic centre led by the local tourism officer.
    • 18:30 – 20:00 – Bus transfer back to the city centre.
  • DAY 5 – 08/05/2026
  • • 9:00 – 10:30 – Lecture by The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
    • 10:30 – 11:30 – Coffee break.
    • 11:30 – 13:30 – Lecture and practical workshop on measurement instruments in Health Sciences led by the coordinating university.
    • 13:30 – 14:30 – Discussion and networking space.
    • 14:30 – 16:30 – Lunch.
    • 16:30 – 19:00 – Closing ceremony and transcript of records delivery.

• • Submission of projects
  • Coordinator and supervisors' feedback
  • Networking and discussion of results
  • Dissemination of final projects through social media
